Cobots Online is looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, designing bespoke automation equipment and collaborative robot (cobot) solutions for customers across a wide range of industries.
You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge while contributing to projects from concept through to manufacture, installation, and commissioning.
What We're Looking For
- Degree (or expected degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience using SolidWorks and confidence in producing 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Enthusiasm for engineering, automation, and innovative technology.
Desirable Skills
- Placement year or internship within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, sheet metal, or assembly.
- Experience producing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering calculations and mechanical design principles.
- An interest in robotics, automation, or collaborative robot technology.
