After seeing the potential of their first two cobots, utilising Universal Robots' UR10, BA soon implemented three more cobots using UR20, which is built for heavier payloads and delivers faster speeds.
Providing flexible CoboTends and fixed CoboTowers across two manufacturing sites, the cobots are tasked with accurately loading and unloading panels consistently throughout the day. Since their integration late last summer, their cobots have produced over 100,000 panels, contributing to increased efficiencies and growth.
